SUMMARY:Rumpus in Bumpass Triathlon
DESCRIPTION:Hosted at Pleasants Landing Marina on Lake Anna\, this race and venue are amazing. The swim takes place in the southeast portion of Lake Anna\, about 1/4 mile from where the “hot side” of Lake Anna empties into the cold side\, resulting in water temperatures that are 4-6 degree’s warmer than the rest of the lake at this time of year. So\, you  can look forward to above average water temperatures in late April. The first open water race of the regular season starts at 9AM\, so you can sleep in a little and make it a day at the lake with family and friends. \nViews of Lake Anna and the Blue Ridge Mountains give this race a magical feel\, it’s a great place to race and spend the weekend outside.

DESCRIPTION:Pleasants Landing will be the site of The Jefferson Cup\, a Mid Atlantic Intercollegiate Sailing Association (MAISA) South Series\, hosted by the University of Virginia Sailing Team on Sunday\, October 11th and 12th! \nThe 2025 Regatta will include over 40 sailors on teams from American University\, University of Maryland\, Christopher Newport University\, William & Mary\, Virginia Tech\, Hampton University\, and of course\, the University of Virginia. \nThe sailing will begin Saturday and Sunday around 10am & should be complete between 2 and 3pm! \nHope to see you there!

DESCRIPTION:Pleasants Landing invites you to attend our park/marina for viewing the Lake Anna Fireworks – the only public viewing area on Lake Anna! \n🌟 Date: Saturday\, July 5\, 2025🌟 Fireworks begin at 9:15pm \nHow It Will Work: \n\nOur park & marina will operate as normal between 9am through 7pm (wristbands required throughout the day at $8 per adult\, $5 per child aged 15 & under).\nAt 7pm\, we will shift to focusing on the fireworks traffic.  The cost to enter the property & park will be only $10 per car!  We will accept cash and credit card payments through Square.\nWE DO NOT ALLOW ANY OUTSIDE FIREWORKS.  For the safety of the crowd\, our boats\, facility and everything included\, we will not allow any outside fireworks\, but the big show will be spectacular on its own!\nPlease be respectful of our neighbors & their properties.\nWe ask that you are in time to be in place by 8:45pm so that the focus will remain on the amazing show!\n\nFAQ: \nIs there a rain date? LACA makes a decision the morning of July 5th if the show will proceed due to weather. In the event of a reschedule (typically the following Saturday)\, we will update our plans. \nPleasants Landing is the perfect spot to watch the sky light up over Lake Anna.
